Originally from Cambridge, Ohio, Candace developed a strong commitment to community service at an early age, with family members, raising funds for local animal shelters and organizations focused on children's education and extracurricular programs. She also volunteered at local libraries, reading and tutoring young children, and organizing book drives to expand access to educational resources. While in college, Ms. Bennett continued her outreach as a Resident Advisor, creating community programs and collaborating with small businesses to provide students with volunteer opportunities, skill-building workshops, and internships. Today, she remains actively involved in service initiatives—preparing meals at local homeless shelters, supporting animal rescues with donated supplies, participating in speaking engagements, and assisting individuals with resume development and job placement resources.
